ABOUT GOSPEL

From blues to hip hop, African Americans have been a driving force behind groundbreaking music for more than a century. Musical styles come and go, but there's one sound that has been a constant source of strength, courage and wisdom from the pulpit to the choir lofts on any given Sunday. GOSPEL, the latest history series from Henry Louis Gates, Jr., digs deep into the origin story of Black spirituality through sermon and song.

ABOUT LYLA IN THE LOOP

Lyla in the Loop follows Lyla, a dynamic 7-year-old girl who lives in a big city with her close-knit family, her fantastical blue sidekick, Stu, and a host of relatable and quirky characters in her community. Lyla loves to collaborate with Stu, her mom and dad, her older twin sisters and her little brother to solve every day mishaps, messes and mix-ups. Along the way, Lyla relies on creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to design and test her inventions and build imaginative contraptions, which lead to clever solutions as well as comedic disasters.
