Dr. Jack Hansen will offer a different perspective, grown out of extensive, in-depth interviews of retired men and women and described in two books he has coauthored on this topic. Preparing for and living in this phase of life involves navigating a set of personal transitions, availing ourselves of unique personal opportunities afforded us in this phase of life and coming to grips with a set of personal challenges as we continue to age. Bring your questions!

This webinar is offered as part of National Estate Planning Awareness Month. It is estimated that more than 120 million Americans do not have proper estate plans to protect themselves or their families in the event of sickness, accidents or untimely death. This costs many families wasted dollars and hours of hardship each year that could be minimized with proper planning. Many people also mistakenly underestimate their wealth and think they do not need to do any estate and financial planning.

The webinar will take place on Zoom. You will need internet access and a computer or tablet to participate. Instructions will be sent in advance, and Endowment staff are happy to assist first-time Zoom users.

Free and open to the public

Jack Hensen, based in Greenville, SC, spent much of his professional career in leadership roles in federal and university research organizations. Since transitioning from full-time work to part-time consulting, he has coauthored two books on the personal dimensions of preparing for and living in retirement.
