After Action
Date:
Wednesday, November 09, 2022
Time: 6:00 pm
Location:
The Citadel, Holliday Alumni Center, 69 Hagood Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403

South Carolina ETV, the ETV Endowment and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at The Citadel invite you to commemorate Veterans Day with the national premiere of AFTER ACTION, an ETV-produced series featuring conversations with military veterans that reveal what life is like before, during and after action.

We kick the evening off with a hearty BBQ dinner before we settle in to watch a producer’s cut of the first episode of AFTER ACTION. ETV Lowcountry’s Holly Bounds-Jackson will then moderate a conversation with series host Stacy Pearsall (US Air Force) and featured AFTER ACTION veterans: Tommy Clack (US Army), Desiree Gordon (US Army) and Joe Worley (US Navy). Service dogs Charlie and Galaxie will also be on duty with their humans on the discussion panel. The evening will be an inspiring and exclusive opportunity to preview a new national program created right here in South Carolina and to share in a candid discussion with our servicemen and servicewomen.

Register by November 1st

AFTER ACTION is funded by the ETV Endowment of South Carolina, Polycor and Friends of AFTER ACTION.

About AFTER ACTION
Hosted by veteran Stacy Pearsall and co-produced with SCETV, AFTER ACTION highlights the stories of 21 veterans as they share their experiences of training, deployment and, most of all, life "after action." Focusing on shared values such as diversity, strength, commitment, generosity and resilience, AFTER ACTION seeks to demystify the military experience, provide a platform for dialogue among military family members and preserve military stories, many of which have, to date, been left untold. The first episode will premiere on SCETV on Veterans Day, Friday November 11th; the full seven-episode series will air in January 2023 on SCETV.
