Proudly sharing stories that connect communities across our state

As we step into June, SCETV is proud to continue sharing stories that inspire, inform and connect communities across our state.

This month also marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic events at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. In remembrance, SCETV presents Never Forgotten: The Emanuel Nine. This heartfelt tribute includes special programming and community engagement projects dedicated to remembering the lives lost and showcasing how a devastated community continues to honor their memory. The televised broadcast special Healing with Grace will air on ETV on June 19 at 8 p.m.

We also continue to create spaces for timely conversations about South Carolina's most pressing issues. On June 12, join us in Aiken for a live taping of South Carolina Lede for an in-depth discussion on challenges and legislative priorities facing our state. On June 26 at 7 p.m. Palmetto Perspectives returns with Let's Be Neighbors, a critical conversation on the increasing pressures of South Carolina's strained housing market, including the obstacles residents face in accessing affordable housing.

For Father's Day, we're offering two deeply moving programs on June 15. Joe 238, airing at 4:30 p.m. on ETV-HD, tells the story of a grieving father who discovers new purpose by honoring his son's wish to be an organ donor. At 5:30 p.m., Grown Up Dad follows host Joseph Gidjunis on a global journey to redefine fatherhood and forge a deeper connection with his own son.

Meanwhile, SCETV invites you to dive into ETV Classics: Summer of Nostalgia, launching June 4 on SCETV's digital platforms. Curated by our team, this special online streaming collection brings back beloved children's and teen programming from years past — perfect for summer viewing and cherished memories.

As our summer fundraising drive continues, we are excited to showcase exciting new content that exemplifies the excellence of SCETV's local and national programming. Your continued support ensures we can keep delivering compelling dramas, impactful documentaries and enriching educational series to audiences throughout South Carolina and beyond.
