As we celebrate National Park Week and Earth Day, April reminds me that hope is not a fleeting thought, but something lasting and continually recurring. 

As president [of South Carolina ETV and SC Public Radio], I appreciate that public media continues to elevate the voice and stories of women who shape our communities and our culture. Women's History Month is a time to honor both the trailblazers who paved the way and the women who continue to lead, create and inspire every day. This month's programming reflects our commitment to telling those stories with purpose and care.
