Dear Viewers and Listeners,

As we near the end of another remarkable year, I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge a few accomplishments from 2023 and remind you about the great programming from SCETV you can enjoy during the holiday season.

This year was filled with milestones. SC Public Radio celebrated 50 years with featured programming and community events. SCETV hosted the first-ever "Be My Neighbor Day" in Greenville. We celebrated 20 years of the South Carolina Channel, 30 years of Making It Grow and 50 years of hip-hop with SCETV's Flow Fusion. We also kept viewers and listeners informed before and during Hurricane Idalia as its impact was felt across the state. These accomplishments are significant and were all made possible through your support.

As we end 2023, I invite you to join us for a special Doc Martin, season 9 marathon leading up to the highly anticipated premiere of season 10 on December 17 at 7 p.m. For mystery enthusiasts, new episodes of Agatha Christie: Lucy Worsley on the Mystery Queen will delve into the origins of Agatha Christie's macabre magic on December 10 at 7 and 8 p.m. Because there's something for everyone, on December 18 at 8 p.m., we're celebrating 25 Years of Lidia Bastianich with Lidia: A Culinary Jubilee. The beloved award-winning chef will commemorate her incredible journey as one of the longest-running cooking shows on PBS.

The holiday season wouldn't be complete without a plethora of holiday programming. Programs such as Christmas at Westminster: An Evening of Readings and Carols, airing on December 8 at 5 p.m., and Debbie Gibson Holiday: A Soundcheck Special, airing on December 14 at 8:30 p.m., are ways to hear your favorite holiday hits. On December 26 at 4 p.m., tune in for Mary Berry's Highland Christmas where she'll share her Scottish heritage and delightful dishes. Hosted by lifestyle expert Sira Williams, Karamu: Feast for the 7th Day will also explore the tradition of Kwanzaa on December 31 at 11:30 a.m.

Lastly, make sure to keep an eye on our social media channels for the SCETV Season of the Secret holiday campaign.

With these incredible programs and milestones, there's no doubt that 2023 will be a year to remember. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to this network. You are appreciated, and we look forward to making many more memorable moments with you.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season!
