As the Donor of the Day, you can celebrate a milestone or honor someone special while supporting the programs you love on South Carolina ETV and South Carolina Public Radio.  

With a dedicated, one-time gift of $500, your personalized message will be shared live on SC Public Radio on the date of your choosing — reaching listeners across the state throughout the day. 

How It Works: 

  1. Call Aundi Hunter, ETV Endowment Development Officer, at 864-591-0046 to check available dates and reserve your day. 
  2. Make your $500 Donor of the Day gift. 
  3. Share your personalized message honoring a person, milestone or special occasion. 
  4. Tune in to SC Public Radio throughout your reserved day to hear your message shared live on air. 

Message Guidelines: 

  • Messages should be brief and celebratory in nature.
  • Messages may honor individuals, milestones or expressions of gratitude.
  • Commercial or political messages are not permitted.
  • Requested dates are subject to availability; requests should be submitted at least 14 business days in advance.

Sample Messages: 

  • "Today’s Donor of the Day celebrates John and Linda Smith on their 50th wedding anniversary, with love from their daughter, Susan."
  • "Today’s Donor of the Day celebrates Jane Thompson of Charleston on her 40th birthday."
  • "Today’s Donor of the Day remembers Robert ‘Bob’ Wilson, whose love of public radio inspired a lifetime of learning."
  • "Today’s Donor of the Day is Mary Lee of Columbia, celebrating her daughter Sara’s graduation from USC."
  • "Today’s Donor of the Day is Frank Collins of Spartanburg, in dedication to his daughter, June, on her birthday."
