Thank You for Bringing New and Exciting Programs to SCETV and SC Public Radio

By Anthony Padgett, President & CEO SCETV

Dear Viewers and Listeners:

As SCETV continues to celebrate its 60th anniversary, we are giving you the floor. Our newest initiative, The SCoop, lets viewers and listeners send us questions and ideas about South Carolina’s places, food, history or people, and SCETV will turn them into stories. Visit The SCoop to participate.

New SCETV offerings are abundant this month. From the makers of Downton AbbeyJamestown follows the tale of three women as they create new lives in the English colony of Jamestown. Native America is a four-part miniseries that shines a spotlight on the ancient cultures of America’s first peoples and the communities that still thrive today. American Experience’s The Circus explores the colorful history of this form of American entertainment, when Circus Day would shut down a town, and its stars were the most famous people in the country. Ann Curry returns in We’ll Meet Again, which features reunions of people whose lives have crossed at pivotal moments. And our very own Chef Vivian Howard winds up her popular series with an hour-long A Chef’s Life Harvest Special.

SC Public Radio adds two new series. Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street Radio is a culinary exploration of the world of food, uncovering unique facts and finds around the world. Jazz Happening Now is a new addition for our jazz listeners, featuring creative new artists as well as living legends.

As always, we could not bring you these new and exciting programs without your loyal support, and we thank you for it.
