Inside ETV Endowment

This season, gather around the stories that connect us

Dear ETV Endowment Member,

This time of year is perfect for gathering — around tables, around traditions and, of course, around the programs you love on South Carolina ETV and South Carolina Public Radio. There’s something special about knowing that while you’re enjoying a favorite program at home, thousands of other families across South Carolina are watching and listening right along with you. That sense of connection, of being part of something bigger, is what public media does best. And it’s all made possible by you.

Thanks to your support, we’re proud to celebrate 25 years of Walter Edgar’s Journal on SC Public Radio — a beloved tradition sharing the stories, people and ideas that shape our region. I’m also looking forward to Ken Burns’ newest film, The American Revolution, premiering soon on SCETV. Featuring scenes filmed in South Carolina’s backcountry, the series brings the Palmetto state’s role in history vividly to life.

There’s much more to enjoy in the weeks ahead as MASTERPIECE presents The Great Escaper, featuring the final performances of Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson in a moving story of courage, love and resilience. And the award-winning Craft in America returns with Handwork 2026, a yearlong exploration of artistry and ingenuity from across the nation.

Throughout this holiday season, I hope you’ll watch what you love, share what inspires you and take pride in knowing that your kindness and generosity make it all possible.

With gratitude,

Coby C. Latham, CPA, CFRE
