Staff Pick: Atlantic Crossing on MASTERPIECE

I recently spoke with a longtime ETV Endowment member who called to see if Atlantic Crossing was still available on SCETV Passport — he's been eagerly watching the rebroadcast and missed it last weekend. That kind of request always catches my ear, especially when it's for a series as compelling as this.

Inspired by true events, Atlantic Crossing on MASTERPIECE follows Norwegian Crown Princess Marth as she flees Nazi-occupied Europe and forms a complex bond with President Franklin Roosevelt. With standout performances from Socia Helin and Kyle MacLachlan, it's a powerful blend of political drama and personal sacrifice.

Maybe, like me, you missed it the first time around, or you haven't been able to watch it on Sunday nights on SCETV this month — either way, SCETV Passport has you covered! Stream the full series and revisit a story that still resonates today.

Ever spot an odd object in a museum and wonder, what's the story behind that? We've been there too!

Curiosity Trek!, a SCETV Digital series, digs into the strange, surprising and sometimes spooky artifacts tucked away in local museums and historic sites. From a haunted work cart at the Adluh Flour Company to a Revolutionary War "Star Fort" in Ninety-Six, host Andrew Davis uncovers unexpected tales behind the objects that history left behind.

Season 2 includes stories of ghostly flags at Fort Sumter, a death mask linked to John Dillinger and even a letter from the legendary Francis "Swamp Fox" Marion himself. Each short episode offers a bite-sized mystery that might just spark your next road trip.
