Call the Midwife Season 7

The world around Nonnatus House is changing, and the lives of the nuns and nurses are in a state of flux as Season 7 of Call the Midwife begins.

Sister Mary Cynthia, Patsy and Delia have decided to make changes in their lives but may return at a later date. Nurse Lucille Anderson, played by Leonie Elliott, is new to the group. As the first West Indian midwife to be featured in the series, she brings new energy and fresh ideas to life at Nonnatus House.

Call the Midwife has never shied away from challenging story lines. In previous seasons, they have tackled issues of dementia, domestic violence and thalidomide. Season 7 will be no exception. You’ll see them work together as they confront a wide range of illnesses and other problems including leprosy, tokophobia (fear of pregnancy and childbirth), stroke and Huntington’s chorea.

You’ll also enjoy the more playful side of daily life as Trixie’s romance with Christopher continues to develop, and Tom and Barbara enjoy their time together as a married couple.

To join them on their new adventures, tune in as episode one begins on Sunday, March 25, at 8 p.m. on SCETV.
