Inside ETV Endowment

Bringing People, Stories and Communities Together

Dear ETV Endowment Member,

Happy New Year! The programs featured this month reflect the vital importance of connection — bringing people, stories and communities together. As we move into 2026, I believe public media will continue to deepen that sense of connection in meaningful and inspiring ways through trusted perspectives and shared experiences.

Finding Your Roots returns for a twelfth season full of remarkable discoveries, bringing celebrities like Spike Lee and America Ferrera face to face with their ancestors — and a few unexpected DNA cousins they never knew existed. All Creatures Great and Small is back with the warmth and humor we've come to love from Skeldale family. And The AUXdacity, a new multi-platform podcast from South Carolina ETV and South Carolina Public Radio, explroes the powerful relationship between music and society.

There's one connection I am especially grateful for, and that's the one that we share. As part of the ETV Endowment family, your support makes it possible for trusted news, vibrant arts and culture and thoughtful storytelling to continue reaching homes across South Carolina through the beloved programs on SCETV and SC Public Radio.

Because sharing is at the heart of everything we do, don't miss Mrs. Hall's shortbread recipe. I'm looking forward to making a batch for my family.

Thank you for your steadfast generosity and belief in the work we do together.
